The Brief – May 15, 2020
The Mystery of the Stump
I went into my pasture and discovered that a stump has been ripped up and moved several feet.
That stump has been here nearly as long as I’ve been here, as the tree fell over the first year I was here. I guess technically it’s been here longer, since even before the tree fell over it was there… you know, as part of the tree.
It’s unclear how the stump was dug up or moved, but I have my suspicions.
The Holland Cooper Experience (Giveaway)
I am a fan of Holland Cooper. I love classic designs made of beautiful fabrics. Their clothes are all made in Britain, inspired by a love of the countryside. They (somewhat) recently launched their equestrian line, which includes riding and atheleisure style apparel. But I’m going to be honest, the clothes are pricey and I’m not made of money here. It doesn’t fall out of me or grow in a tree in my backyard. So instead I signed up for the Holland Cooper Experience.
Holland Cooper is giving away a night’s stay in a Hotel in Cotswolds, Great Britain, including treats and drinks, and the next day they will whisk you away for a £1000 shopping spree. Also included are two tickets to both the 2021 Badminton Horse Trials and Windsor Horse Show. Pretty neat package!
Okay, so, I don’t actually live in Great Britain. But I value travel as such an important experience that I would definitely make the trip over there in the
likely unlikely event I win. It would be a great excuse to turn it into a whole vacation.
I wanted to share it in case anyone else wants to turn giveaway for nice clothes into a vacation.
New Horse Movie – Horse Camp: A Love Tail
Remember Horse Camp, a movie I watched way back in 2014? Probably not, but I’ll forgive you.
Anyway, they’ve made a new Horse Camp movie! This one is called Horse Camp: A Love Tail, and it will be released on May 19th to dvd and streaming services.
I’m really hoping the two horses featured on here are in the movie, because, damn, those are some good looking horses.
I love horse movies, for all their quirks, weirdness, but also genuine good nature. I’m planning to watch this one. Watch it too, and we can discuss afterward. It’ll be on iTunes, Vudu, Google Play, Xbox, Amazon and FandangoNow.
Ok. I’ll enter.
We can go together if either of us win
You got it
