I am learning to sew. It’s an ongoing process, and sometimes it feels overwhelming. I would really like to be able to sew and alter clothes, so I’m sticking with it!
Today I finished my first piece of apparel. It’s a pair of pajama shorts.
This project is part of my online class. I’m okay with the final result, it certainly looks like a pair of shorts. I can see where I could have improved it. Hopefully the teacher will mark it okay and I can move on.
The only real problem I have with this shorts are that they do not fit me. 🙁
I could give them to someone much smaller who wants a pair of pajama booty shorts (they are also very short). Or I could wait to see if I get smaller. I have a whole closet full of clothes waiting for me to magically shrink. They’d fit right in.
I think I might be a hoarder of clothes. But it’s such motivation to lose weight when there’s cute clothes only a few sizes down… one day…
