Westfalen Foal Inspection 2019

I love warmblood inspections. First off, the foals are so dang cute, and watching their baby antics is such a joy. It makes me wish I had foals running around my farm (thank goodness I come back to reality before that happens. Then, there’s such great information shared by the inspectors. It’s really insightful and informative to listen to the evaluation. I’m not going to be a breeder, but I always like to expand my knowledge base!

Greenstone Farm is the breeder where Stu came from. When I heard they were having their annual inspection, naturally I invited myself. They were gracious enough to extend the invitation after.

I brought Bridgette with me, and now I know that having a baby present is extremely distracting while trying to pay attention. Therefore, I have minimal insight from watching, and really just having a bunch of photos of cute babies. But, I am pleased to report that Bridgette was fasinated by the horses going by, and actually was a very happy baby the whole time. She’s just a baby though, with baby needs, and she can’t help that. It’s hard being a baby. Because of baby needs, I decided to cut the day short, so I only got to see 5 foals presented.

Please enjoy the photos of the delightful foals, with minimal notes on the inspector’s comments. Also, I’m pleased to report that 7 out of 9 of the foals presented got premium! So happy for my friends at GSF!

Unfortunately at this point Bridgette was too distracting so I was unable to capture anymore notes.
