Happy Thanksgiving!

Time slips away so fast… It’s been so busy, I hadn’t even noticed how long it’s been since I posted! So I decided to share pictures from my Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is for family time, so we packed up the baby and the dogs and headed to my parent’s new house on the Cheseapeke Bay. They had sold the farm I grew up on last year, and are nearing the end of building their gorgeous house on the water. It’s an amazing house, with so much natural light, in an amazing location, and I can’t wait to spend more time there. I didn’t get nearly as many photos of the house as I should have, but luckily I’ll be back there soon and I’ll take more.

We visited the beach next to their house. It’s only a few minutes walk, but it was so windy and cold that we drove. Surprisingly there was actually someone else hanging out at the beach in this weather, but he quickly left when we arrived. We had the beach all to ourselves, which would have been way nicer had it been warm.

Bridgette loves being outside so the cold wind didn’t seem to bother her. We had her all bundled up and she was happy on her first ever visit to the beach.

I took limited photos, but it was a really nice time seeing my family. We are spreading out more and more so it’s getting tougher to see everyone. Hopefully we will be able to see them more soon!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well! I’ll be posting soon with an update on my barn renovation!
