I used to as a teenager, but now I just cannot ride in sneakers. There's the safety aspect of it and it just feels so wrong. As a kid, a lot of my friends ride in sneakers, and we had those boots with so much lacing to do up, but now there's pull on boots, so there's really no excuse to not wear boots. So forgetting my boots means ground work only. Although now my sneakers are full of sand 🤔 Obviously riding in anything other than boots with a heel is frowned upon but would you sneak a ride in sneakers if you forgot your boots? #horselife #equestrianlife #horses #equestrian #horsesofinstagram #instahorse

We've been friends a long time. I got her 20 years ago, and I'll care for her until her dying days. This may be the last time I ever ride her, she gets ouchy and I have Stu to ride. But she was eager for this ride. She hasn't been ridden in over five years but as soon as I got on I had to hold her back.
