Poffins the Destroyer

I am in the process of setting up a craft room in the basement. I’m really excited about it and I’ll be so happy to show it off when it’s all set up. But in the meantime, I was organizing ribbons into a box when I dropped a ball of twine. Poffins, my vicious little yorkie, seized it.

At first, I grabbed it back. Then she sat and stared at me.

She wanted it so badly, I had to give it back to her. She took it, and tried to squeeze into her little cat house. She couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t fit.

Capture3

Oh well, she’ll just destroy it out in the open!

Capture4

Of course I toyed with her. That makes it more fun. I seized the ball back!

She wasn’t taking any of that, so she lunged for it.

And back to chewing it up.

After a few minutes of chewing, it seems like her ball is getting smaller.

Capture9

Yup, definitely smaller.

What happened to the ball?!

And now Poffins is sad, because there’s no more ball of twice to destroy. 🙁 And now I’m out a ball of twine. But it was totally worth it.

If you’re wondering how I got all these photos of her, it’s because this was actually a video. I wanted to post the video, because I think it’s hilarious, but I did not for several reasons.

  1.  It’s 10 minutes long.
  2. I took it with my cell phone and I thought holding it like a normal cell phone meant it would take a normal video, but when I put it on my computer, it was sideways. I do not know how to correct this.
  3. While I think she’s super amusing, I assume that most people will not be interested enough to watch a ten minute video of my dog attacking a ball of twine.

But it was cute enough for me to share through pictures. I hope you enjoyed!
